Established in 1994 by Grahame Dawson, a highly-regarded and experienced chef, Dawsons has evolved from a boutique catering kitchen into Auckland’s most respected hospitality company.
Dawsons’ guiding philosophy is simple: Impeccable service, fabulous presentation and quality product.

We collaborate with corporate and private clients and event companies to produce anything from an intimate dinner party for a handful of guests to a banquet for thousands.
Without our clients, we would cease to exist. Our #1 goal is to exceed your expectations. When you start to plan your event we realize the pressure you’re under to make it a success. We do not take your trust lightly and promise to do everything in our power to make YOU look fabulous!

Teamwork:

Many catering companies are both owned and run by a chef. Although our kitchen is a vital part of what we do, our kitchen team members only represent a small portion of who we are.
By working with Dawsons you’re not only gaining a talented kitchen crew focused on providing you with mouthwatering foods – you’re also gaining a knowledgeable sales team to support you throughout the planning process. The Dawsons team work together like a highly-practiced orchestra. Each player contributes talents and skills that together enable us to reliably deliver an outstanding outcome. We believe in providing menu items guests will love. We enjoy being creative in presentation, but when it comes to our food items we believe in combining simple ingredients with an excellent product to create a menu all of your guests will enjoy, love and appreciate.

Our people have mastered the ‘art of events’ at every level, from planning and venue choice to cuisine, music, lighting, sound and entertainment.

Your sales consultant,  kitchen and support staff all have the same goal: to serve you. In our business you’re only as good as your last event so every task, no matter how small, gets our undivided attention.

Giving Back:

Our support and sponsorship of the Auckland Philharmonia Orchestra and the Auckland Art Gallery Foundation is our way to give back to the communities we cater to.
Dawsons has also contributed to help many local deserving organizations and charities to raise funds for their causes.
