Established in 1994 by Grahame Dawson, a highly-regarded and experienced chef, Dawsons has evolved from a boutique catering kitchen into Auckland’s most respected hospitality company.

We collaborate with corporate and private clients and event companies to produce anything from an intimate dinner party for a handful of guests to a banquet for thousands.
Many catering companies are both owned and run by a chef. Although our kitchen is a vital part of what we do, our kitchen team members only represent a small portion of who we are.

We believe in providing menu items guests will love. We enjoy being creative in presentation, but when it comes to our food items we believe in combining simple ingredients with an excellent product to create a menu all of your guests will enjoy, love and appreciate.
We’ve been catering for over 20 years now and we’ve been fortunate to grow and expand with a team of experienced and dedicated professionals in every aspect of our business. Our people have mastered the ‘art of events’ at every level, from planning and venue choice to cuisine, music, lighting, sound and entertainment.
Your sales consultant, kitchen and support staff all have the same goal: to serve you. In our business you’re only as good as your last event so every task, no matter how small, gets our undivided attention.
